Biofuel4Moobaan was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 when the increased cost of gas severely impacted the local community. As farmers ourselves, operating a small farm in Muaklek, we witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by our fellow villagers. Motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive difference and support our community, we embarked on a mission to find a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
Muaklek, known for its milk cow farming industry, presented us with a unique opportunity. We realized that the abundance of cow manure in the village could be transformed into a valuable resource: methane gas. Methane gas, a byproduct of organic waste decomposition, can serve as a renewable energy alternative to traditional gas. Not only does it offer a sustainable solution, but it also comes at no cost, as it leverages the existing resources available in the village.
With a shared vision, we were able to innovate a system that efficiently converts cow manure into clean and renewable methane gas.Â
However, our focus extends beyond the development of the methane gas creator; it lies in empowering the entire village of Muaklek. We are dedicated to making this technology accessible to our fellow farmers, ensuring that every household benefits from the opportunity to reduce gas expenses while contributing to a cleaner environment. Through an inclusive distribution network, we work tirelessly to provide biogas tanks to farmers in the village and teach them about the process, enabling them to generate their own energy and become self-sufficient in meeting their household gas needs.
